Completing Your CITAP Profile

  1. Navigate to https://citap.gov/.
  2. Click the icon in the top right corner to open the “Profile and Settings” page.
  3. Login.gov users will notice their connected email in the “Login email” field. Please be sure this is your work email and not your personal email.
  4. Type your name and organization as you would like them to appear to others.
  5. Add your work phone number (optional).

If you see your personal email instead of your work email, follow these steps:

  1. Use the user icon at the top right of the CITAP portal to sign out of the portal.
  2. Open a new window and sign into Login.gov.
  3. Once your work email is verified, return to the “Account and Settings” menu and choose “Your connected accounts.”
  4. Look for a connected account labeled “DOE – OneID.”
  5. Under “DOE - OneID,” click “Connect” or “Change.” When asked to choose a preferred email, select your work email. (See additional instructions from Login.gov)
