Completing Your CITAP Profile
- Navigate to https://citap.gov/.
- Click the icon in the top right corner to open the “Profile and Settings” page.
- Login.gov users will notice their connected email in the “Login email” field. Please be sure this is your work email and not your personal email.
- Type your name and organization as you would like them to appear to others.
- Add your work phone number (optional).

If you see your personal email instead of your work email, follow these steps:
- Use the user icon at the top right of the CITAP portal to sign out of the portal.
- Open a new window and sign into Login.gov.
- Once your work email is verified, return to the “Account and Settings” menu and choose “Your connected accounts.”
- Look for a connected account labeled “DOE – OneID.”
- Under “DOE - OneID,” click “Connect” or “Change.” When asked to choose a preferred email, select your work email. (See additional instructions from Login.gov)
